Kevin Ireland has worked with wood all his life. His background at Art School took him into printmaking and fine craft work. He was drawn to timber framing through its aesthetic and environmental qualities. His design skills, eye for detail, high standard of workmanship and commitment to sustainability in practice combine with twelve years experience in construction. He shares his knowledge of straw bale building and carpentry through consultancy, client involvement and training.
He has developed a network of associated trades and colleagues and is able to source high quality local timber.
